The North Fork cataraft frame is an industry setting design that address these key factors: portability, rowing efficiency, and structural integrity. The engineering of the North Fork cataraft frame mimics the house truss design. This gives the frame the ability to cascade energy throughout the frame rather than point loading (energy moving to single points). This design helps avoid breakage and increases the longevity of the frame.
Each frame has 6” of adjustment in the seat plate and 3” in the oar towers. We understand that every person’s body geometry and rowing styles are different. which is why our frames are hand crafted and made to order. 

Frame Sizing:

20" cockpit will generally fit a person from 5'4"-5'8" with and inseam of 26"-30".

22" cockpit a person from 5'8"-6' with an inseam of 30"-34".

24" cockpit a person from 6'-6'4" with an inseam of 34"-38".
